Hello! My name is Lauren Gertzman (LGT) and I draw what I see, and see what I draw.

This means I love creativing both observationally—capturing real people, life moments and landscapes—and conceptually, bringing imagination to life through editorial illustrations, children’s illustration, and character design.

Whether I’m sketching a portrait, designing icons or illustrating hula-dancing hippos, my work aims to combine humor and heart, and make people laugh, smile, think, and feel.

I blend traditional media (pencils, pen + ink, watercolors, printmaking) with digital tools, working across observational, conceptual and commercial projects that celebrate connection, diversity, and creativity.
